Solar Flare has been picked up by a publisher! The plan is to re-release issues #1-6 with our new publisher and to continue releasing a new issues 10-12 times a year! More details to follow! Thank you to ALL our supporters for helping us! We hope to have even more big announcements soon...
We had a great article written about us in the Ft. Myers newspaper about our upcoming issue #6 release party and signing! On Saturday, July 16th from 10:00am until 3:00pm Comic Cards and Stuff in Fort Myers will be hosting a SOLAR FLARE #6 RELEASE PARTY! Issue #6 is the conclusion of the first story arc titled FORT MYERS. All issues will be available! We are using this new affiliate service called Kickbooster. By going to www.kickbooster.me and filling out some basic info, you can become what they call an "affiliate" for our campaign. Kickbooster will give you a special link to our campaign for you to share on your social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and if someone contributes after using that link, you will earn 10% of whatever reward bundle they purchase. We had such a great time this past weekend at the MegaCon Convention in Orlando! We made some great connections and made some new fans as well! We will be in Dallas this weekend for the big Dallas Fan Expo, so if you're in the area stop by and say hi! I'm getting ready for about 4 major conventions in the span of 6 weeks coming up here in May. Our next convention will be early next month in Lakeland and then Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle starting the 7th of April. We'll have issues #1-5 available at both conventions, along with the NEW Solar Flare Preparation KIT! More details about that coming soon! The 5th issue Kickstarter will be launching in the next two weeks! In the meantime, the digital download of issue #5 is available now HERE! I'm happy to say that the scripts for issue #6 AND #7 are in the final editing stages as well. The first story arc wraps up in issue #6 and the graphic novel will hopefully be out around May.
